Dr's appointment and weigh in today. (6 weeks old, 11lbs 10)

Also a jab. The boy was tough though and got a nice Garfield "boo boo" patch as a medal of honour.

Things are moving pretty fast. Toby's getting bigger and Izzy is moving onto big toys

Granny treated Izzy to a lovely scooter. Blimmey can she get that thing moving.

Unfortunately, no idea how to stop. That's Daddy's job

Wine and Chocolate, the medicine of choice

This is getting silly...sorry for the lack of blog activity.

What can I say, newborn in the house, free time equals rest time or children to entertain.....

Anyway, Easter has come and gone. We went to Church on Sunday to see Big Jesus (little Jesus was at Christmas, who knows how Isabelle's mind works).

The Church is very child friendly, so much so that they put on a small side event to entertain restless children. Isabelle also took part in 2 egg hunts on Sunday. One was impromptu at the local park (we sort of gate crashed that one). The other was in the house.

The sweetest part of it all...she woke in the night, wandered into our room at 3am, Easter basket in hand looking for more eggs...

I think we sometimes forget where we actually live.....There's not really been a whole lot of time to just stop and have a look around. This pic is from Christmas eve. I was looking through some photo's and cam across this, so I thought I'd post it...

Allowed me some time to reflect on the fact that NY city is our backyard !

Growing Up...

Time is flying by. Toby is a month old tomorrow and is already losing the Newborn tag. I can't believe its been 4 weeks already

Big Story This Week....

Toby has taken to the bottle...We decided, as we did with Izzy, that adding a bottle to the feeding routine will create a bit more flexlibility...

So, we tried it today and he loved it.....that boy can drink, he doesn't seem to care how its delivered....

Fingers crossed it wasn't a one off..

So, you'll notice the less frequent updates on the blog this week. No surprise really...it all comes down to a choice betweeen getting some sleep or logging on to the net and playing around with photo's.

A strange week..

We moved into a new office at work, a massive upgrade on the last location. And of course with that comes set up and adjustment to the new surroundings.

And Toby was going through some wierd sleeping patterns....basically, lots of sleep in the day, not so much at night....still I guess that just babies the world over..

Granny and Grandpa are back in Brooklyn...

It's just like when my Granny used to come and visit us...always a good chance of chocolate being available !!!



Isabelle and Toby have the same great set up...Granny always brings treats.....And Mummy and Daddy benefit...
